■ In the afternoon of the 7th, LOTTE Chemical President & CEO Lee Hun Ki and Songpa-gu Mayor Seo Kang Seok gathered to hold a ceremony to donate 2,000 10-kg bags of rice.
■ Dedicated to social contribution activities to support the underprivileged people and realized balanced growth with the local community.

LOTTE Chemical announced that on the 7th of last month, they donated 2,000 10-kg bags of rice to Songpa-gu Office.

In celebration of Family Month in May, Songpa-gu Office held a donation event called "Companion Rice" to provide rice to underprivileged groups such as elderly living alone and single-parent families, as well as social welfare institutions in Songpa-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by LOTTE Chemical President & CEO Lee Hun Ki, and Songpa-gu Office Governor Seo Kang Seok.

LOTTE Chemical has been organizing the "Companion Rice" donation event annually since 2021. "Companion Rice" symbolizes the company's commitment to sharing warmth by delivering agricultural products purchased from the vicinity of its Daesan Plant to underprivileged people in the community.

LOTTE Chemical President & CEO Lee Hun Ki stated, "We will continue to expand our role and responsibility as a corporate citizen dedicated to supporting our neighbors in difficult situations through various support activities."

Furthermore, LOTTE Chemical donated 1,500 10-kg bags of rice purchased from the Daesan area to Chungnam National University and KAIST that are participating in the "Thousand Won Breakfast" project in April.
