LOTTE Chemical published the “2020 Sustainable Management Report”

LOTTE Chemical announced on the 2nd that they published the “2020 Sustainable Management Report” to disclose performance and social value activities and actively communicate with customers and interested parties.
Published for the 14th time in Korea, the Report has been produced in accordance with the “Sustainable Management Report Publication Standards” recommended by GRI, the international organization for sustainable management. It also contains the results of ‘MSCI ESG Evaluation’ and the information required to be disclosed by TCFD and SASB to comply with ESG.
The Report described LOTTE Chemical’ ESG Management Strategies and Environmental Objectives titled 『Green Promise 2030』 including the four key projects—‘eco-friendly business’, ‘vital cycle of resources’, ‘response to climate crisis’, and ‘green ecosystem’—and the pursuit of carbon neutral growth meaning no increase in carbon emission until 2030. 『Project LOOP』, created by eight companies to raise awareness of resource circulation and take leadership to build a circulating economic system in Korea, is also included along with the climate change index and reduction goals.
In addition, LOTTE Chemical’ vision was introduced based on the four major safety environment measures—expansion of investment, expansion of professional workforce, improvement of systems, and enhancement of internal capacities—and details of new future businesses.
